We had a great shop in Stroud on Saturday and as usual bought our favourite things from the farmers' market; bunches of sweet williams, a baguette, two courgette plants, asparagus, creme fraiche and some centenary cider. We also found some old print letters, a Warne trees and shrubs book for 20p, an old round loaf tin and a Dennis Gould print on some lovely linen fabric.

With our haul we made a delicious Saturday brunch of asparagus tian made with eggs, cheese and creme fraiche, which we enjoyed for lunch with fresh bread and some raspberries.

  1. nom! Can I come with you next time, you always find such lovely things. xx

  2. This sounds so lovely. And the meal looks delicious!

  3. What a great selection of treasures! I also collected a large letterpress block over the weekend, new obsession, that brunch looks oh so scrummy too!
